Our school
The
name of our school is St.Alfreds
High School Barisal
School is a temple of learning and a training ground for
future citizens. Our school was set up by an eminent person in our area. He
donated land and money for the school.
The atmosphere in which our school is situated is very
pleasant. It is surrounded by a playground on one side and a garden with a
small pond on the other. The school has two rows of big buildings. The name of
the school is written in the front building. There are ten classrooms in the
front building.
It
has three buildings and a large field. The main building is U shaped one. Our
school has three sections for every class and more rooms for office, staff and
a library room. All the rooms have sufficient doors, windows, and wide
corridors.
The
school sits at 8.30 am and breaks up at 2.00 pm. There are 2000 students and 50
teachers in our school.
The library in our school is a big one. There are about two
thousand books on different subjects. We observe Day, the
Independence Day, the Teacher's Day in our school. In annual examinations
the students from our school show brilliant performance. The school is famous for its good results.
I
am proud to be a student at this school.
